# Changelog ## 1.13.1 - Car card: the battery bar is always shown now, along the bottom of the card, with the charge limit marked. It turns green with the charging details while the car charges. On the wide card it runs the full width. ## 1.13.0 - **Car card redesigned in the style of the Tesla app,** with a square and a wide design. The square card shows the car from the front, the wide card from the side with the numbers beside it. Both have the battery and range, a green charging bar with the power, time left and charge limit, and plain icon buttons for the doors, climate, charging and location. Tall square cards add rows for the climate, location and odometer. - **Car color:** paint the car in your own color. - **Layout:** choose the square or wide design yourself, or let the card pick one from its shape. ## 1.12.1 - **Car card redesigned from scratch:** the car is now the battery. A side view of the car fills up with the charge level (green while charging, red when low) with the charge limit marked, under large numbers for the charge level and range, when it will be full and a status. Round buttons control the doors, climate, charging and location. Short cards show a slim battery bar instead, wide cards put the car beside the stats, and narrow phone cards stack neatly. ## 1.12.0 - **Seven new cards:** a to-do and shopping list (add, tick off, swipe to delete), who's home (photo, home or away, for how long, which zone), a weather forecast (hourly with rain chance, the next days, sunrise and sunset), a kitchen timer (quick starts, countdown ring, a beep when done), blinds and covers (position, tilt, open or close all), an alarm panel (keypad, arming modes, warns about open doors and windows) and notifications (dismiss them, install updates). - **Light groups redesigned:** white tones and colors for the whole group, and a brightness slider for every light in it. Tap a light for its own panel with brightness, color temperature and colors; tapping a light elsewhere opens the same panel. - **Car card redesigned** around a round gauge with the range, the charge limit and when it will be full, with buttons for the doors, climate, charging and location. - **Over 130 icons**, with new ones for rooms, appliances, tools and devices, and an icon picker with search. - **Scroll and swipe cards:** set your own text for when none of their cards are showing, or hide the card. - **Kiosk:** the doorbell camera fills the screen when someone rings and closes by itself after a minute, and the screen saver can show photos from links or Immich albums. - **Night mode** per device: dim the screen and switch to the dark theme after sunset or between two times. - **Editor:** search the widget list; entity fields show a list with icons, names and states; select several widgets with Shift-click to move, align, duplicate or delete them together; copy widgets to another tab or dashboard; drag a widget onto a scroll or swipe card to put it inside, and take it out again. - **Version history:** bring back an earlier save of a dashboard from the ⋯ menu. ## 1.11.0 - **Energy card.** A live flow diagram of solar, the grid, a home battery and your home: the lines are as thick and as fast as the power flowing through them. Shows the battery level, and any totals for today you add. - **Climate popup.** Tapping a thermostat (for example in a room card) opens a dial with the target temperature, − and +, the modes, presets and fan modes. Quick taps add up and are sent together. - **Car card redesigned** around a 3×4 card: a drawn car (or your photo) that glows while charging, the charge level and range, the battery bar with the charge limit, and buttons for the doors, climate and location. Short cards get a compact layout, wide cards put the car beside the numbers, and tall cards add stats. - **Appliance card redesigned:** a progress ring around the appliance next to the program, time left, ready time, door and power. Taller cards stack it. Without a progress sensor, progress is worked out from the time left. - **Home Connect support in the appliance card.** Pick the *Operation state* sensor and the card fills in the rest of the device: progress, finish time, door, active program, pause/resume/stop buttons, the power switch and alerts such as rinse aid or salt running low. It knows all Home Connect states, including *starts later*, *action needed*, *error* and *stopping*; shows program names readably ("Eco 50"); shows a locked door; and has buttons to pause, resume, stop or switch the appliance on. A card with an active alert stays visible when the appliance is off. - Fixed: the appliance card showed an idle Home Connect appliance (*ready*) as finished, and one that was off (*inactive*) as running. - **Horizontal scroll card:** set the card width in pixels or as the number of cards visible at once (for example 2.5), and give single cards their own width. - **Swipe card fixes:** the first tap after a swipe no longer gets lost on phones, swiping over photos no longer breaks off, and a two-finger trackpad swipe now turns the page. ## 1.10.0 - **Phone dashboards.** Turn on *Designed for phones* in a dashboard's grid settings to design it in a 4-column layout at phone size. Existing widgets are converted. On a phone the dashboard fills the screen without the top bar; touch and hold an empty spot to bring the bar back. Other dashboards still reflow on phones as before. - **Room card.** Pick a Home Assistant room (area) and the card shows its temperature and humidity, what's on, open or playing, a button for all its lights, and its devices to switch. You can add extra entities, or build a room from entities alone. - **Changelog.** This list, in Home Assistant's Changelog tab and under *About → What's new* in the app. ## 1.9.0 - The swipe card really swipes now, with a finger or the mouse: it follows along, resists at the ends and reacts to a quick flick. The arrow keys work too. - Cards in a swipe card fill the whole card. The page dots float on top and hide after a few seconds. - Tap a clock with a photo background, or a Photos card, to go to the next photo. - Fixed: removing a player from a media card didn't work inside a scroll or swipe card, or on media cards from before 1.5. - The vacuum card grows with its size: a robot with a battery ring, stats, suction power and labelled buttons. ## 1.8.0 - New vacuum card: status, battery, start or pause, dock, locate, suction power and an optional live map. - Clock: choose where the time sits in the card, and add a background photo from links or Immich albums. - Light card: a light group lists each of its lights with its own switch. ## 1.7.0 - New horizontal scroll card and swipe card, which hold other cards. - Nine new themes, including High contrast, for 15 in total. - Choose which dashboard opens on which device (optionally in kiosk mode) and for which person. ## 1.6.1 - The version is shown under *About* in the dashboard settings. - After an update, browsers load the new version instead of an old stored copy, and open screens reload by themselves. ## 1.6.0 - New app icon. - The clock can show the weather with today's high and low. - The tab menu can be a slim rail with icons only (the default), with names on hover. ## 1.5.0 - Any widget can be shown only under conditions, such as "only when the washer is running". - New appliance card for washers, dryers and dishwashers. - The media card can control several players. ## 1.4.0 - New waste collection card for the Afvalwijzer integration. - Dashboards can have tabs, with a menu on the side (a tab bar on phones). ## 1.3.1 - Fixed: on Home Assistant the app showed test data instead of your own devices. - New menu item: *New dashboard from my devices*. ## 1.3.0 - Dutch translation, following your Home Assistant language, with a per-device choice. ## 1.2.0 - New Photos card with Immich albums, and a calendar card. - Kiosk mode has no visible exit button any more: tap a corner five times to leave. ## 1.1.0 - New design following Apple's design guidelines, with a System theme that follows light and dark mode. - Tile styles: cards, outlined or plain. - New car card and kiosk mode. ## 1.0.0 - First version: a drag-and-drop dashboard editor in its own Home Assistant sidebar tab.
