- Home Assistant administrators are admins: Dashboard, Builder and Admin screens
- Everyone else only sees the dashboards an admin chose, always in kiosk mode;
the server enforces it (saving, people, devices, history are admin-only, and
the websocket only allows reading states and controlling devices)
- Admin screen: dashboards, people and what each sees (with preview), devices,
messages to the screens, the Haven app, activity, about
- Haven: new Android app (haven/) that only shows dashboards; replaces the
Dashboard Studio Android app and signs in through Home Assistant's page
- Screens pick up dashboard and access changes within a minute
- Version history records who made each change; panel visible to all users

- Android app (android/, built with build.sh): signs in to Home Assistant once, opens Dashboard Studio full screen, renews the ingress session; downloadable from Install as an app
- Phone dashboards: a round menu button brings back the top bar with Edit, Kiosk and Install as an app
- Install as an app explains what works per device (Android app, https for browser install, iPhone limits)
- Fixed: browser install failed because the manifest was fetched without the Home Assistant sign-in

- Seven new cards: parcels, air quality, water and gas usage, solar forecast, garage and gate, sports, Formula One
- Kiosk: announcements from automations, tab rotation, guest mode, click sound
- Editor: templates, widget presets, undo history, alignment guides, Lovelace import, share link and QR code, theme variants, suggestions, touch and hold actions
- Phones: installable app with shortcuts, offline states, tab swipe, pull to refresh, bottom sheets, haptics, phone/large visibility, landscape layout, editing on the phone, away tab
- Fixed: the weather forecast and to-do list could stay on Loading…

- Container cards: horizontal scroll (snap, arrows, keeps position) and
swipe (dots, optional autoplay that survives redraws and respects
reduced motion), with add/edit/reorder of the cards inside
- Nine new themes, contrast-checked, including High contrast; bright
accents get dark text
- Choose which dashboard opens per device (optionally in kiosk mode)
and per Home Assistant user, via /api/whoami and the ingress user
headers

- Version shown under About in the dashboard settings, with a link to
the repository; /api/version reports it
- index.html is never cached and stamps the version on every asset URL,
so browsers can't keep running old files after an update
- Open screens check the version after reconnecting and every 5 minutes
and reload into the new version (editing only shows a message);
pending saves are flushed first

- App store icon (icon.png) and favicon, drawn by tools/make_icon.py
- Clock can show a weather entity with today's high and low from
weather.get_forecasts
- Side menu gets an icon-only rail style (now the default): full height,
centered icons, active marker, names as hover/focus tooltips; phones
keep a labelled bottom tab bar

A Home Assistant app with its own sidebar tab: free-form grid editor,
live entity widgets (lights, climate, car, calendar, Immich photos,
Afvalwijzer waste collection and more), themes, tabs with a side menu,
